about me

I'm a writer and photographer from Charlotte, North Carolina. I recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Global Studies (global economics, trade and development) and a minor in Geography.

I have always had a passion for telling stories. I want to give voices to people and places around the world that rarely get one.

My interest in photography grew out of six months abroad throughout Europe, Africa and Asia, as my appreciation for place evolved into a desire to capture and share it.

North Africa has left the biggest impression on me so far. I spent several weeks backpacking through Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt with a close friend, and developed a true love for the region that I hope eventually finds a way into my work. I am based in North Carolina and open to all opportunities anywhere.
