I'm a traveler, writer and photographer from Charlotte, North Carolina. I recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Global Studies — global economics, trade and development.

I want to tell the stories of people and places that no one else will. I've always been most drawn to the places that make people ask why.

North Africa has left the biggest impression on me so far. I spent several weeks backpacking through Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt with a close friend, and developed a true love for the region that I hope eventually finds a way into my work.

My interest in photography grew out of the six months I spent traveling abroad throughout Europe, Africa and Asia, as my appreciation for place evolved into a desire to capture it.
